- Collaborated with the president and president-elect on promoting the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) to worldwide audiences and in establishing presidential policies, annual theme and message. Solely responsible for writing all presidential, executive committee and board of directors speeches (an average of 50 speeches per year over 6 years). Especially skilled at crafting speeches for diverse audiences. Also coached speakers.
- Conducted extensive research and achieved consensus among senior staff and executive committee to maintain consistency with ASHRAE’s mission and the vision and priorities of the in-coming president. Also developed consensus to determine how best to present the Society’s progress during the year.
- Scripted master of ceremony remarks and speaker introductions for the Aerias Third Annual National Symposium: Protecting Indoor Environments and Building Occupants. Also, reviewed all speaker presentations and materials for consistency with the symposium’s style guide. Ensured all presentations were displayed properly for each speaker.
- Scripted master of ceremony remarks for the plenary session at ASHRAE’s Winter and Annual Meetings. Also scripted and produced the opening and award video presentations.
- Created a PowerPoint™ presentation and script, based on Mold: Cause Effect and Response – A Study of Wallcovering Products, for the Wallcoverings Association. The publication, presentation and accompanying brochures were successfully used to dispel misinformation about indoor mold growth and wallcoverings and to create confidence in wallcoverings as a safe decorating choice.
- Edited and directed the production of a comprehensive slide presentation, AHPA Arthritis Teaching Slide Collection, 2nd edition, used by physicians and health care professionals for continuing education and patient education.
- Created PowerPoint™ presentations used for training small groups in communicating effectively and in running productive meetings. Also, updated new employee orientation program for Siemens Electromechanical Components NAFTA business segment. Produced PowerPoint™ presentations for ASHRAE’s new employee and chapter officer orientations. In addition, created a slide presentation to educate engineers on how refrigerants impact the ozone layer.
